Quilting Day at Grace

Another Quilting day at Grace,what a wonderful productive day. We have 21 quilts tied for Project Linus ready for Sunday and we worked on another quilt for a gal,Carrie,who has cancer.

Friend, Joanne, made a big pot of 21 bean soup for us all. Plus another gal, Pat made a great new chocolate dessert. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh Good.

I am so blessed to have friends to share a laugh with.

I was reading this past weekend about what God blesses us with, this book mainly talked about our finances.

All too often our thoughts go to our wants and desires, not the needs. God provides what we need and we are give chances to share when we can, with a giving heart, to those in more need then ourselves.Just another part to work on in my life.

Well off to have supper and relax. I am so blessed.

Quilting day

I was busy over the month of December, making a wool batt comforter and duvet cover and then quilted table runners for three nieces and a god daughter.

Well today I am finishing the last table runner for Andi, god daughter. Yes I know it's past Christmas, silly............ But I was busy and I have to be in the mood to pick up quilting after the holidays.

I did the two patch work squares, Peace is the pattern, and assembled it all last night but put off the quilting until today as it is easier in good sun lite to quilt. The other three table runners main color was either cranberry or dark green, but this one I used a toasty gold for the main color, turned out great. I have to learn to get pictures on here to share.

Well off to quilt some more, I want to deliver it tomorrow.
