Goodmorning,
Tooth is on the mends and I'm up early so I may just go out side and suck rocks.Yes you heard me right, my kids will cringe but it works. After raking stones from the yard for years, Marge has me sucking rocks, with the shop vac. Don't laugh, it works. Who wants to rake so much you have to break every two minutes and you never see the end of it. Well this year has produced a record amount of rocks in the yard from this winters snow plowing, some areas had stones two or more inches deep and the size of Shirley. Dave K does a fantastic job keeping me plowed out but it does have its drawbacks.
So I went out yesterday and worked for two hours and have about 1/4 of it done. Only three cars went by, who cares, are they going to help me, NO............. So I will go out again this morning and see how many more stares I can chaulk up. Wish me luck.
Oh, Project Linus, I emailed a gal in the area and received many answers back. I think I will make this my next giving project, as most projects are just for me I decided to title it a giving project. And we all know I have a big supply of fabric to use from, so I will make quilts for Project Linus and give.
I spoke to my beautiful daughter Denise last night and she said to think what I would like to do for my birthday, so I'm thinking, it is coming up soon.
Off for coffee and a glance at the to-do list before I hit the yard sweeper, Send me your comments on the rock sucking, I bet you have some. But if your not going to help, think about it,,,it just works and I'm a redneck grandma.......
